Saini was presiding over a meeting organised on Wednesday at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh, by the Department of Foreign Cooperation, government of Haryana. The meeting aimed to promote overseas employment opportunities for the state’s youth and to develop strategies to make them globally competitive.

Discussions during the meeting placed special emphasis on strengthening coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, government of India, and various overseas placement agencies. Around 20 recruiting agencies participated in the event.

Advisor to the chief minister in the Department of Foreign Cooperation, Pawan Chaudhary, highlighted the department’s achievements, noting that several effective initiatives have already been taken to facilitate the overseas placement of youth.

These measures aim to provide international employment in a safe and transparent manner. He further informed that, under this initiative, not only will job opportunities be offered, but special programmes will also be launched to equip youth with the necessary skills, language proficiency, and preparation aligned with international standards.

Notably, the state government, through the Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam, has released 5,700 vacancies online for which Haryana’s youth can apply based on their qualifications. These vacancies will facilitate placements in Mauritius, Israel, Russia, Norway, Germany, Dubai, and other countries, through a transparent process and without any financial burden on the candidates.
